I have decided to start this blog to follow my journey through having braces on my teeth.
My story probably isn't any different from many other people, however sharing this experience will hopefully add a bit more information on the Internet about the reality of being an adult with braces.
The background is that I am 33, I have now got the opportunity to have lovely straight teeth, something that I have always dreamt of. Its not purely vanity that has pushed me to have this done, but mainly the way I can't stand to have my photo taken or smile properly, how I am self conscious when I laugh and talk and I know just how much a quality of life improvement this will make.
And soon beings the start of my treatment........
